Do you agree with the characterization of Trump's trial as a "modern day Salem witch trial"? Why or why not?

Michael Cohen who served jail time for Trump did well. He explained his case coolly and calmly and the essential information he provided was already backed up by the evidence already presented. The person the defense chose was a disaster and did Trump’s case no good because Cohen again was calm and unrattled and made the defense look stupid because the defense’s choice to interview Cohen was aggressive and did not stick to supporting a proper defensive case when interviewing Cohen. This man chose to create a show instead. Cohen stuck to the truth admitting his part in it and never reacted to the Defenses aggressive interviewer. Cohen just backed up the facts already presented. The prosecution developed this case professionally and competently.
The prosecutors proved their case and the Defense did a terrible job at trying to defend Trump. Stormy Daniel’s was interrogated (what probably felt like an attack) on the sexual issues by Trump’s female lawyer and Stormy did well and held her own case.
I assume this refers to Trump’s Hush Money trial where Trump’s business was to be judged and juried by The New York Court system for Trump’s case on Records Fraud and the trial wasn’t anywhere close to a “modern day Salem Witch trial!! I will explain why with the information I provide here. Trump loves to just focus on the sex he had with a porn star- Stormy Daniel’s. In this way he I’m sure is trying to fool his base that it was just about the sex. If it was just that no law agency would care - just Trump’s wife Melania - who doesn’t seem to care.
The paperwork was able to back up Michael Cohen’s testimony because he used his own money first to pay off Stormy for Trump which would have put him completely on the blame line except that Trump reimbursed Michael with his own check that was listed as a “business expense”. The prosecutors of course had a copy of the check. Stormy also validated what took place at her end.
Trump ended up getting caught red handed and was taken to trial in New York where his business is. The prosecution was really good at what they did and started building up the case starting with catch and kill where Trump and Pecker of the National Enquirer would find off color depictions of people and then kill them and replace them with more appropriate pictures - articles.
Now I of course could not be at the trial. However through Meidas Touch Legal AF I listened to Karen Friedman Agnifilo, Co Host on Legal AF, who has a three decade background in criminal justice, litigation, and trials and was a member of the New York Court System who presented the information and knowledge required for all who listened to her to understand Trump’s case as it took place each day. Karen was at that trial that tried Trump’s case every day the Court was in session. Every day on Legal AF after the trial was over Karen would give her comments from her observations of the trial.
What story do you have involving a public restroom?
The documents proved the case and all witnesses clearly did a good job of presenting the point needed to build the case that proved Trump did use his reimbursement money fraudulently to cover up his affair with Stormy.
This was not a witch trial and Trump should have fired his lawyers and sought for better ones. But I believe that Trump’s actions that were found out by the law were so explicit that no excellent lawyers wanted to take the case. It appears that Trump’s criminality was so obvious that the best lawyers decided to pass on taking Trump’s case. If there was evidence to defend the case then these poor defense attorneys couldn’t get the job done. Sad!
Then the 34 indictments went to the Jury and every Juror agreed within I believe a day and a half that Trump was guilty on all 34 Counts. The Prosecution did the job they were supposed to do and they impressed Karen. Trump’s defense did Trump no favors. Thus, Trump now this coming July 11 will find out what his punishment will be.

I learned so much and was glad that I could watch and listen to her observations of the trial of Donald Trump and his illegal use of his company’s money to pay off a porn Star! The information I provided here is from my listening to Karen as she provided her expert opinion of the Case against Donald Trump. I learned a lot.
But the most significant in this case was the records and data where Trump’s employees backed up the fact that Trump lied in his records about the purpose for that money that went instead to Stormy to hush her up about their sexual encounter. The needed documents were shown in the trial proving the fraud.
Trump’s trial was successful for the prosecution proved their case. The Jury who were ordinary citizens who were selected by both the Defense and the Prosecution did their part and made their decision in a quick manner and based on how much time they took to decide all quickly agreed on the verdict. The Jury asked for certain evidence to be provided to them and the evidence provided obviously convinced the Jurors to come to an agreement that Trump was guilty on all 34 counts.
However, Trump to have an easier win in the 2016 Presidential Election paid off Stormy Daniel’s through (reimbursing Cohen who initially paid her off) from his business account and then lied in the business records labeling it as a business expense. Trump as the trial is called gave her hush money to keep her from publicly stating she had sex with him.
